Dear parents / carers
As of Monday 25th January, school staff are being asked to take COVID tests twice weekly at home. 1 in 3 people are asymptomatic and the DFE and NHS are hoping that by testing school staff they will be able to reduce the spread of the COVID virus in the wider community.
We are hopeful that this testing will not disrupt the current learning, happening at home and in school, but please be aware that any staff testing positive may lead to the closure of a class bubble in school. As staff are not moving between bubbles and we are currently not having any supply teachers in school, it may become difficult for school to offer the current levels of provision if a number of staff test positive at any one time.
We will, as always, continue to keep you updated with any changes. Thank you for your continued patience at these difficult times.
Many thanks
Lucie Forrest
