Signs of Spring

We have had another super busy week! As it was Shrove Tuesday during half term, we listened to the stories of, Mr Wolf’s Pancakes and Pancake Pancake on Monday and then we made and ate pancakes.

Our topic this half term is new life and signs of Spring. We learned how to look after seedlings and plants and we planted tomato seeds and Bluebell bulbs. We are very excited to see them grow and look after them well by providing them with water and sunlight.

During our outdoor session today we went on a walk to look for signs of spring. We looked at the tops of trees through binoculars to see if we could spot any bird nests and were delighted to discover quite a lot of them within the school grounds. We also found; snowdrops, crocuses, daffodil shoots and new buds and leaves. It was a very successful Spring walk!
