Families in Gateshead are being asked to rethink the school run when they go back to school next week and choose and choose a greener way to travel.
Walking, cycling or scooting helps children arrive at school feeling happier and healthier and ready for the day of learning ahead. It will also ease congestion from traffic around the busy school gates.
