Ladybirds learning about milk

The children have continued their learning through the Vivian French book, Oliver’s Milkshake. The children watched a documentary all about milk and the process of how it gets from the farm to the shop. With lots of discussion, the children shared their knowledge of milk and how they like it with their cereal and some with cookies! The children finished off the week by making milkshakes. The children made two different milkshakes, banana and strawberry. The children helped prepare the fruit, ready to put into the blender. Everyone used the equipment safely and with good control. The children tried both milkshakes and then we done a vote to see which one was the favourite. The children then froze the remaining milkshake to make milkshake iced-lollies. Delicious.
