Nursery have been focusing on the story, Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. We have learned that owls hunt for food during the night,eat small animals, can fly silently, have sharp talons and make live in holes inside of trees. We all produced some beautiful owl collages which will be displayed inside of our nursery. We have improved our shape knowledge this week by matching 2D shapes onto some owl templates as well as making our own shape pictures after reading a book called Mouse Shapes.
