Identifying trees

This week we have enjoyed spending time in our camping site and ice-cream parlour role play area as well as listening to stories about camping and also participating in linking activities.

We have made the most of the glorious weather and spent a lot of time outdoors. During our Friday outdoor session we explored our school grounds and identified some trees. We looked very closely at the shape and the size of leaves to help us and we successfully identified,  willow, elder and sycamore tress. We carefully picked some of the leaves to use for an activity next week.
