This afternoon in Nightingales we ventured up to the pond for the first time this year. The children learnt how to safely gather water and use the nets. In small groups of 3 they did some pond dipping and managed to find a variety of different creatures such as pond snail. We had a lot of fun and learned about living things and their habitats.
