Exploring Beebots

This half term, Reception have been exploring the Bee-bots and the different ways that they can move.

We focused on moving the Bee-bot forwards and backwards using the arrows, giving the Bee-bot instructions. We predicted how far the Bee-bot would need to move to reach our friends, the children worked fantastically together. Next, we used our counting skills to move the Bee-bot forwards and backwards up the ladder and used our Bee-bots to make our own maps!

The children have really enjoyed using the Bee-bots and look forward to debugging the Bee-bot when things go wrong next week!
