This week in the Reception classes we have been focusing on Jack and the Beanstalk. We couldn’t believe when footsteps were left in our classroom. We used some super detective skills to work out who had left them, we discovered it was the Giant!
We have looked at counting beans and developing our adding and subtracting skills to help Jack find out who was taking his magic beans.
The children did some fantastic writing, taking real care to form their letters correctly and using their blending and segmenting skills more independently.
