Today, Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to have a visit from Jamie, Miss Clough’s son. He has a special interest in Space and works at RAF Flyingdales where satellites are tracked. He told the children all about how rockets are made, fuelled and launched into space and how scientists have learnt about the planets from space exploration. The children were engrossed and utterly amazed by his wealth of knowledge (as were the teachers!) A huge thank you again to Jamie for enhancing our curriculum.
