We have made the most of the beautiful Spring weather this week and worked as a team to tidy our nursery garden. We weeded some of the planting boxes, raked leaves and washed some equipment. During our Friday outdoor session, we walked to our compost heap to deposit the leaves and weeds. We have incorporated our plant topic with Mother’s Day and made some beautiful plant Mother’s Day cards and a planting pack as a Mother’s Day gift. In maths, we focused on shape and looked at similarities and differences. In phonics, we practised sounding out words using ‘robot arms’. As usual. we made our own play dough and participated in Squiggle While You Wiggle.
