In geography, the children of Snowdrops, Tulips and Bluebells have been learning about the climate zones of our planet. Each class has impressed their teachers by using several ‘topic words’ such as ‘temperate,’ ‘arid,’ ‘polar’ and ‘tropical.’
Our tasks involved matching climate zones to their descriptions and using a colour-coded world map to show the climate zones of the different parts of Earth. We then went on to do some research into tropical climates, as this links with our science this week – all about layers of the rainforest.
Take a look at our excellent work.
