This term in computing, UKS2 are looking at how to develop games using coding on Scratch. To start with, the children added their own sprite and background and then inputted some simple code to make the sprite hide and disappear. They then looked at how to add a random action to this so that the sprite changed size and location randomly. This week, we took it one step further and wrote the code to develop scoring and timers using variables. As an extra challenge the children added a sound for when their sprite was caught.
