On Thursday, boys from Years 5 and 6 played two matches in the Tyne View League.
There was an excellent team spirit; the players really supported each other. The boys also proved their fitness, as their matches were one after the other – on a warm afternoon!
Their first match was a 4-1 defeat to Harlow Green; however, the boys battled well and were level for most of the game before it got away at the end.
In an improved second performance, the Nookers got a well-earned 3-3 draw. We even had a hat-trick hero and an assist from our goalkeeper!
Lots of positives to take from these two games. Well done boys.
