This term in Science, UKS2 are learning about light and how it travels. This week we focused on how light could reflect off objects such as mirrors. To investigate how this worked, children made their own periscopes out of cereal boxes. The children worked hard to cut the lines for the mirrors at the correct angle so that the periscopes would work. Year 5 really enjoyed testing them out and learning more about how and why periscopes are used in real life!
