Helping Hands in Nursery!

This week in nursery we have continued to focus on our nursery routine and explore the indoor and outdoor environment as well as welcome some more new friends.  We have introduced the role of  a daily ‘Special Helper’ to encourage independence, positive relationships and communication skills. The children have embraced their roles which includes; preparing snack, serving snack, washing the snack cups, collecting compostable materials from the kitchen and filling the water trays during outdoor sessions. During our outdoor Friday session we focussed on looking after and respecting our environment. We swept and raked leaves which we put in our compost bin, washed our mud kitchen equipment and washed our paint pots in preparation for the week ahead.
