This week, the children of Lower Key Stage 2 have been doing all sorts of great work linked to addition and subtraction. They’ve used base 10, place-vale counters and written examples, to help their understanding. It’s great to see and hear our learners use concrete resources and share mathematical vocabulary so well.
Each class has enjoyed learning more about what happens when we add and subtract larger numbers. They’ve even had time to supplement this learning with short bursts of shape, time and measurement work!
Well done everyone for your super efforts.
