This week Year 2 have been exploring the school grounds searching for signs of autumn. We have discovered lots of things such as apples, changing leaves and berries. We thought about the adjectives we could use to describe the signs such as juicy, crimson berries, delicious crisp apples, scarlet, crumbly leaves and hard, nutty acorns. We were able to use these fantastic expanded noun phrases to write a recount all about our walk.
