The school nursing team visited the reception children today to see how they had grown. The children were fascinated to see the measure they used to find out how tall they are. They also enjoyed looking to see how heavy they are in the electric scales. ThereĀ was lots of discussion about tall and short, and how children grow as they get older. Children also discussed growing from a baby to a toddler, into a child and then an adult. They showed a super understanding of how our bodies change over time.
