On Friday, Years 3 and 4 were lucky enough to be visited by three historians from Durham University for a full day of workshops about the Vikings. The day was the perfect way to round off what has been a brilliant history topic that we’ve all enjoyed a lot.
Throughout the day, our visitors taught us Viking words, games and beliefs, as well helping us to do lots of fun, hands-on activities.
Children were able to handle Viking artefacts and even had a go at making artwork involving the Runic alphabet.
We want to say a big thank you to our three visitors for a fantastic day.
