This half term, the children in years 3 and 4 have been studying the painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. They thought about how the piece makes them feel and what they like or dislike. The children then used oil pastel and water colour to recreate the piece. After, they thought about what went well and what they would improve on. The children then planned their own artwork inspired by Starry Night. They decided what they would like to include in the foreground and the background of their own piece. They then created their final pieces of art. The children created some fantastic pieces of art. Well done years 3 and 4! Take a look at the photos below to see our masterpieces.
