This term in Year 5 we have learnt about the weather in French. Children began by learning the phrases such as ‘it is sunny’ and began to build up their confidence in the pronunciation. Over the weeks, we were able to put these into sentences. We then focussed on how we would describe a map with words like North, South, East and West. Finally, children got into groups and put together a script to present their own French weather forecast. Once practised, we stood in front of the green screen and recited our scripts with our best accents!
