On Thursday, Years 5 and 6 walked to St Alban’s Community Centre, along with children from other schools in our local area. It was a fantastic opportunity to follow up on our drama workshop in school, where children gave their true thoughts and feelings about a range of topics. The session enabled the children to see that their ideas had been listened to and included in the drama project being created by Damn Cheek in order to ensure that the project truly reflects the thoughts and feelings of our pupils. It was fantastic to see our children speaking and performing with confidence in front of a large audience.
The children were then given some resources which we will complete in school after the Easter break to support us with being resilient.
