What a fantastic day we all had celebrating the Kings Coronation. The children came to school dressed in red, white and blue. They made some flags and crowns to wear when they had a coronation picnic and a whole school disco at the end of the day. They had a visit from an ice-cream van which they loved! Each class had a variety of activities to complete such as writing a fact file all about King Charles, creating a timeline of his family, researching the royal regalia, what is a coronation and costing an afternoon tea party for King Charles and 65 guests at Buckingham Palace. We had some amazing art work produced using a silhouette of King Charles’s head.
