This term, Year 5 and 6 have been learning about perspective drawing. We considered what it means and learnt some key vocabulary such as vanishing point, background and foreground. We started off with focussing on 3D shapes, moving on quickly to drawing a bedroom and street scene. Once we had built up the skills and knowledge of how to create perspective, children designed their final piece. They were able to add individual touches to their streets or bedrooms and went on to choose either watercolour paint or oil pastels to colour.
