This week, the children in Lower Key Stage 2 have been planning and creating their own Pop Art. Their designs are inspired by the work of Pop Artist Roy Lichtenstein. The classes used a self-portrait photograph and traced the outlines of their facial features. They then printed this tracing onto sketch paper. From there, each child was able to select mixed media to add colour design to the self portrait.
