This term in PE, UKS2 have been doing rounders. We began the term practising our fielding skills (throwing and catching) and then moved on to the batting. We considered some of the techniques that work best when using a rounders bat. We put all this into practice in a ‘running rounders’ game which helped us learn some of the rules. Finally, we had numerous rounders matches following all of the rules! Some great teamwork, batting and fielding skills shown by children, in all classes!
