This week, the children have been continuing to look after the garden in the outdoor area. After speaking about the importance of a healthy diet following the story ‘The Colourful Present’ the children prepared the planters and planted salad vegetables that we will taste in a couple of weeks time. The story focus this week was another Vivian French story, ‘Oliver’s Fruit’. The children discussed and shared their own preferences of fruit and enjoyed asking questions to their peers to see if there were any similarities or differences.
