This week in Reception, the children have been investigating 3D shapes naming: cube, cuboid, cylinder, pyramid, sphere and cone. The children explored what would happen when they printed a 3d shape in playdough, they noticed that the flat faces held the same shape as some 2d shapes that they already knew. The children enjoyed printing in the playdough and taking pictures of what shape it left behind- take a look at what the pictures they took.
