Another Wonderful Week in Nursery!

Our new children have continued to thrive and make us proud. We have continued to be fantastic mathematicians again this week by sorting items into groups. We have continued to care for our sunflower seedlings by checking the moisture levels in their soil and watering them if they needed it. They are continuing to make steady progress. We have all took part in our weekly Squiggle While You Wiggle session. We started to update our This is Me display by drawing a picture of ourselves. It was nice to participate in this activity with our new pupils and great to see how much progress the other children have made with their drawing skills since last term. We learned the song, Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed  as our song of the week. As our topic this half term is based on trees and sticks we have read books with a similar theme and we produced tree pictures on the interactive white board. During our Friday outdoor session we walked up the top field and explored. We checked on our fruit trees and looked for new growth and blossom.
