Excellent counting skills in nursery!

On Monday we made some playdough. We demonstrated excellent turn taking and teamwork. We measured the ingredients accurately and counted the appropriate number of cup as we followed the recipe. We chose red food colouring to dye the playdough. During our maths sessions this week we have focussed on counting. We helped News Ted to improve his counting skills as he often gets confused and makes mistakes! We shouted, “Mr Mix-Up” when he got mixed up as he counted some objects! Maths this week also included seeing how many cubes we could fit in our hands and also counting the chocolate chips in some pretend cookies. We have continued to care for our seedlings during our outdoor sessions. They appear to be thriving due to the sunny weather. Some of us produced some tree pictures on the interactive white board. On Thursday we explored on our ‘top field’ and practised our football skills with some footballs.
