Make A CEOP Report

Another wonderful week in nursery!

This week we have participated in the whole school Olympics Celebration Day. We made some fantastic Argentinian Flags on Monday and Tuesday. We painted the appropriate sections light blue and glued on the Argentinian badge. We stripped some Willow sticks of their leaves and used the stick as a flag handle which we attached using tape. On Wednesday we attended nursery in blue and white clothing to represent Argentina. We consolidated our maths sessions from last week and participated in Squiggle While You Wiggle sessions. We picked some lavender from our  Key Stage 1 yard and added it to this weeks playdough after we had made it. It looks and smells wonderful! We have continued to make transport pictures using our interactive white board and share transport books at snack times. We continued to create some beautiful leaf artwork by placing a leaf (after using our tree/leaf identification book) in between some material and then hitting it with a hammer. The finished artwork looks beautiful in our gallery inside nursery. On Thursday we re-potted our surviving sunflower seedlings into large plant pots which we will position along the fence of our nursery garden. Hopefully they will eventually bloom and make everyone smile!
