What a lovely day we had at Beamish! We arrived at ten o’clock and had a ride on an old bus down to our Toy Workshop. We were given an important investigation. We had to play with toys from 1959 and decide which were our favourites and why. The staff listened to our comments and used the information to decide which toys would go in the Christmas windo in Beamish.
We looked around the 1950s village before heading to visit the dentist in the 1900s village. The children had lots of fantastic questions to ask.
Finally we went back in time to a school. We loved playing outside in the playground and learned some new skills.
Just look at how much fun we had!
