In Years 3 and 4, the children have completed a science investigation based on making an effective switch. It was done as part of our learning about electrical circuits and electricity.
The children had to choose between a coin, a split pin and a paper clip, after testing each to see which enabled them to switch the light bulb on and off most efficiently.
Each class had to write their predictions, decide on a fair test and then make conclusions about their results.
