This half term, UKS2’s art unit focussed on developing the skill of using perspective in our artwork. We first created 3d shapes using a vanishing point. We then took inspiration from Van Gogh’s ‘My Bedroom’ to create a perspective drawing of our own bedrooms. We then created a street scene, using perspective to make the scene appear to be 3d. Finally, we could choose oil pastels or watercolour to bring our drawings to life. We’ve really enjoyed this topic and we are proud of the artworks we’ve created.
