This week Reception have been exploring the traditions of Pancake Day and learning why families enjoy pancakes before Lent begins. The children helped make pancake batter, watched it cook, and talked about how ingredients change when heated. They were especially excited to choose and taste their favourite toppings and eat the pancakes at the pancake café!
