Good morning Oaks and Elms!

A couple of reminders –

  • Every pupil has access to Reading Plus and should be reading at least 5 texts and completing at least 1 vocabulary lesson every week.
  • Some activities on Purple Mash will not have a ‘hand in’ button. As long as you save the work, we will see it. Once the deadline has passed, you will not be able to access the activity.
  • Conquer Maths tasks should be accessed and completed even if you miss the deadline.
  • Conquer Maths and Purple Mash deadlines will be set to Sunday, however we recommend completing tasks daily whenever possible.
  • All Purple Mash activities should be written in font size 2 (12pt) and every effort should be made to fill the space provided.

Today:

Login to Purple Mash using the link on your class page and complete the activities

  • Spelling – Year 5 Summer 1 Week 2 Quiz
  • English – Read Chapter 4 of ‘The Snatch’ and complete the multiple choice questions

Login to Conquer Maths using the link on your class page and complete the activities

  • Parallel and perpendicular lines
  • Naming line types

Login to Reading Plus using the link on your class page; read at least one text and complete at least one vocabulary lesson (site code: rpwindy)

This Week:

  • Do at least one of the Joe Wicks PE lessons published at 9am Monday – Friday https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ
  • Draw a shark on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCV_MAr02xo
  • Complete ‘River Features’ on Purple Mash.
  • Complete ‘Geography of a River’ on Purple Mash.
  • Create a leaflet about Rivers on Purple Mash. Please note, this is extended writing. Children are expected to fill all boxes with information on the front and back of the leaflet, including images. This information should NOT be copied and pasted directly from research.
