Dear parents / carers
Following the latest national lockdown, with the closure of schools to all but vulnerable children and the children of critical workers, the governing body of Windy Nook Primary School have adopted the following temporary admissions policy. This policy has been written in consultation with the Local Authority and Gateshead Health and Safety department.
It has been lovely to see the children in school, however, we would reiterate the government’s advice that ‘Parents and carers who are critical workers should keep their children at home if they can’ in order to reduce the number of children and staff in school.
Please be aware that most year group bubbles are now full.
We would like to thank all parents who have supported their children with their home learning. If you are having any issues with home learning please contact the school via windyrl@gatedu.org
