Today when the children arrived back from half term we received a message that Mr Leighton had discovered a bone inside the school grounds. Obviously this needed investigating. So Owls and Robins went off to investigate. We found this huge bone covered in blood underneath a bush. This sparked lots of discussion with both classes such as could it be a dinosaurs bone? Which dinosaur? What part of the dinosaur? We decided that it would be best if the Discovery Museum came and took the bone away to investigate.
Hopefully when we are there next week on our visit they may be able to give us some answers.
