🌸 Welcome to Bluebells Class 🌸

A very warm welcome to Bluebells Class!
We are delighted to have you with us and are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead. In Bluebells, we aim to create a classroom where everyone feels happy, valued and respected. We encourage children to work hard, try their best and support one another as they learn and grow.
We love celebrating achievements, big and small, and creating lots of memorable learning experiences. Most importantly, we believe that learning should be fun, engaging and enjoyable for everyone!
📚 Homework
Homework will be sent home every Friday and should be completed and returned by the following Friday.
✏️ Spellings
Spelling lists will be sent home at the beginning of each spelling unit, and children will be tested at the end of the unit.
As our spelling units vary in length, please check the spelling sheet carefully for the date of each spelling test. Regular practice at home makes a huge difference and helps children develop confidence in their spelling.
📖 Reading
Children should read at home every day for at least 10–15 minutes.
Reading regularly is one of the best ways to support your child’s learning. Daily reading helps to develop fluency, vocabulary, comprehension and a lifelong love of books, so we encourage it to be part of your child’s everyday routine.
🏃 PE – Monday
Our PE lesson takes place every Monday.
Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit in school so they can take part comfortably and safely.
