This term saw UKS2 work on designing and creating fairground rides in DT. The children have worked hard all term on creating sturdy structures and complex electrical component controlled using ICT. They had to work in groups to research and design Ferris wheels and then used tools such a junior hacksaws and glue guns to cut and secure wooden structures. They all added the finishing touches this week: ticket stalls, food stands and seats, and the final products look fantastic. Take a look at all the different stages of their hard work!
