Welcome to Beeches

Welcome to Beeches Class! We work hard, respect each other and have fun. We enjoy learning and always strive to be the best we can be. In Beeches, we are Ready, Respectful and Safe, creating a happy and positive place where everyone can learn and grow.
Throughout the year, we will encourage the children to develop their confidence and independence, helping to prepare them for the next step in their learning journey.
Our Team
Our teachers are Mrs Traynor and Miss Raine, supported by Miss Henderson, Mrs McNally and Mrs Barnett.
Homework
Homework is given out on Friday and returned the following Friday. Children should also complete two Reading Plus assignments each week at home.
Reading
Please encourage your child to read every night and sign or comment in their reading diary. Reading books and diaries should be brought to school every day.
Spellings & Times Tables
Spellings are given out at the beginning of each spelling unit and tested at the end of the unit. Units vary in length so a little practice each day will help children feel confident and prepared.
Children should also practise their times tables daily, including regular use of Times Tables Rock Stars (TT Rock Stars) at home.
PE
PE is on Friday. Children should come to school in their PE kit, with suitable clothing for indoor or outdoor lessons. No jewellery should be worn.
Thank you for your continued support. We are looking forward to a happy and successful year together in Beeches! 🌳
