our Head Teacher
On behalf of the staff, children and governors we would like to welcome you to Windy Nook primary School and our website. Our school caters for approximately 330 pupils from 3 years to 11 years of age. The present school site was opened as a Primary School in 1993, on the existing Infant School site.
We were last inspected by OFSTED in June 2023 where we were graded as good. The inspector noted that, ‘The school is an oasis of calm. The whole school community works hard, shows respect, courtesy and good manners and enjoys being together.’ Please visit the Ofsted section of our website for more information.

We hope that our website reflects our endeavour to create an atmosphere of mutual consideration and respect regardless of age, gender, race, religious beliefs, disability, social or home background and family circumstances.
